After nine seasons and as many years, the hours of my life I’ve devoted to watching How I Met Your Mother will draw to a close (and we might finally discover the conclusion of the longest story ever told by a father to his children). As a self-confessed addict and avid follower of the series, its close has led me to wonder how much time I’ve actually devoted to following one fictional man’s quest to finding his fictional soul mate. The answer? 208 episodes totals at 4576 minutes. 76 hours. More than three whole days. Let’s just ignore the fact that I’ve definitely watched every episode more than once, shall we?
