Climbing Match Report

Sir Chris Bonington, the University Chancellor and famous mountaineer was unable to attend Roses 2010 but will be pleased to know his favourite team retained the trophy he specially commissioned for this event.

The mixed A team scored 303 to York’s 292 to collect the points. The mixed C team also won but the B team slumped to  defeat.

If they had won, their points would have confirmed Lancaster’s status as Roses Champions.
