Cross Campus Officer elections postponed

1 min read

The elections for Cross Campus Officers, due to take place on Thursday and Friday Week Eight, have been postponed due to a technical fault.

The error is suspected to be down to a technical fault at the external company, MiVoice, which hosts the electronic voting for the LUSU elections. Though at this time there is little that is known about how the error occured, it is thought to be down to a problem with the volume of people voting in the elections.

The elections for the JCR Executive Officers took place as normal on the Thursday and Friday of this week, with the results being announced on Friday evening in the colleges' respective bars.

The elections for Cross Campus Officers will be reopened on Monday Week Nine, with the results being anticipated to be announced on the evening of Tuesday Week Nine. The error is not expected to occur again.
