Lancaster Men's 1sts were beaten by a competitive York side. York took the lead with a penalty, and scored again soon after.

Lancaster had chances, but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal. They launched a second half comeback to take the score to 2-2 and give the crowd hope, but York scored twice late on to kill the game.
