Lancaster beat York in a feisty Frisbee friendly

After a highly contested friendly match, Lancaster beat York in extra time.

Although the game was not worth any points, there was solid and competitive play from both sides which led to a 4-4 finish that Lancaster made 5-4 during sudden death.

Will Doole, the Club captain told SCAN: “It was mainly a development game which involved players with only a year experience. They played with excellent zonal defence and showed great promise.”

This early win in the friendly, certainly set Lancaster up and gave the Fish a boost of confidence for the games ahead.
