Lancaster claim a point in the final match of the mixed badminton

It was a tense game for the mixed badminton team, ending in a well deserved victory for Lancaster. The team, fought closely with York throughout the gameending with a final deciding match in which Lancaster won. The final score ended Lancaster 5 York 4, with Lancaster stealing the victory in their final match scoring 23-25.

Lancaster worked well as a team, with each pair playing to their own advantages. Strong serving and quick reactions saw Lancaster fight York all the way, with both teams showing equal strength in all of the matches. It was a close match but it was Lancaster’s energy and determination which earned them their final point.
