Lancaster 2nds claim mens badminton

After a close fought competition Holland and Heaney were the heroes for Lancaster, winning the deciding game over Sumerside and Robert.

The meet got off to a shaky start as Lancaster found themselves 3-0 down in quick time. However, superb play brought the tie level and Holland and Heaney triumphed 21-9 and 21-16 to secure 2 points for Lancaster.

Elsewhere, the mixed team were beaten 8-1, only Bennet and Huggen claiming a win for Lancaster
