Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 300ml of milk

100g plain flour

Optional:

  • Lemon and Sugar
  • Treacle syrup
  • Nutella and strawberries

Method:

  1. Mix the flour and salt in a bowl
  2. Make a hollow in the centre and drop the egg in
  3. Stir with a wooden spoon and add the milk gradually until all the flour is mixed in and beat well
  4. For each pancake, heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan
  5. When it begins to sizzle, stir the batter and place 3tbsp into the pan
  6. When golden brown underneath, flip over and cook the other side
  7. Place on a plate and serve immediately with your desired topping
