Pool: Open 2nds

Lancaster 15 – 3 York

Open 2nd’s Pool was held in Lonsdale College bar this year, and the bar was jam-packed with eager pool supporters and players from both sides. The pool was being livestreamed – all 9 hours of successive pool can be found on the ‘LU Pool & Snooker Club’ Facebook page. The intros were the highlight for me – each pool player has a song to walk on to, and as you can imagine, these got quite creative. My personal favourites was Africa by Toto. It was clear that the Pool and Snooker community are a tight knit bunch, and wonderful players too! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the players were all very speedy in their games – they clearly deserved to win with the margin that they did!
