York Edge Dramatic Roses Snooker
With both captains claiming their teams were "confident" going into this event, a tight tussle was always on the cards.
And so it was, with Lancaster winning the first two matches 2-0 but York hitting straight back by winning the following two 2-0 and 2-1 respectively, it came down to the final match.
At one frame apiece it became a single frame for the Roses points. Neither player gave an inch and only the black ball separated them, with York the lucky side.
