Price: Bestival offers a discounted ticket price for students, at £180 for the weekend, with a valid NUS ID card.
Best for: According to the festival’s website, ‘It’s Not All About the Music’. Bestival provides themed entertainment such as the ‘Bollywood Field’ and ‘Pig’s Big Ballroom’.

Isle of Wight

Price: Weekend tickets, with camping, are £190 and day tickets are £75. There is also a Ticketmaster Deposit Scheme which allows festival-goers to pay £38 per month for a weekend ticket.

Boardmasters

Location: Newquay, Cornwall

Price: From £109 for a weekend ticket with camping, but tickets get more expensive as the festival approaches due to a ticket ‘tier’ system
Best for: In addition to the music, Boardmasters is orientated around surfing and skating, and takes place on two Cornish beaches
Glastonbury
