Walnut cake

Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 100g fine sugar
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract + extra sugar)
- 100g grated walnut (whole one needed for sprinkling on top)
- 150g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 4 eggs
Method
- Mix the butter and sugar
- Add the egg yolks and mix
- Add the nuts, baking powder and mix well
- Whisk the egg whites until they peak and mix them in the rest of the ingredients
- Then either pour the mixture into a cake tin and leave to cook for 35-40 minutes at 200 degrees or pour the mixture into 12 bun cases and cook for 12-15 minutes at 200 degrees
